Spa House 18 Upper Grosvenor Road Tunbridge Wells Kent TN1 2EP

I work with the issues mentioned under the ‘How we help’ section of the website, with a particular interest in adults recovering from addiction including codependency and adult children of alcoholics (ACA).
I know that things get hard and there can be a desire to escape via whatever route possible. Working together, my aim is to help you find your way forward, exercising your will in a way that goes at your pace and helps you feel ready to take action.
Sessions can be short-term (e.g. six sessions) or medium-to-long-term, and take place face-to face or on Zoom.
I bring a blend of warmth, calm, and focus to your sessions, beginning with why you are here now, who you are, and what you want from the process. It may be that you have come to counselling at a time when you want to understand more about who you are, and what is, or is no longer, serving you.
I am here to help you explore, in an environment free of judgment, what you need to let go of, discover what emerges, and integrate that in a loving and accepting way into how you live today and beyond.
Listening, feedback, support and challenge are all woven into the way we work together.
I am trained in Psychosynthesis, which focuses on the relationship between body, mind, and feelings and how to achieve a good relationship between and among them, as well as with the wider world, and Person-centred models.
I use a variety of techniques such as guided meditation and visualisation, drawing, somatic and other approaches to help you connect to your inner self and the world beyond you, to find your place in it.
I am also an executive coach, trainer and facilitator, with three decades’ experience in the corporate and professional services worlds. I mention this as all these environments and roles have one thing in common: people, how they react/respond to the world around them, the stories they tell themselves, and how they can look at these in order to work with different ways of being, and in doing so find a better balance in the world and how they relate to it.
Fees: £85 Tunbridge Wells.

The process of counselling and therapy is one thing; the relationship another very important one. I wish you well, and hope to be part of your recovery.
